◇◇♡ Words Sought Not Spoken ♡◇◇

My Grandparents on their Wedding Day.
The beginning of a 60 plus year journey.
The world was their oyster.
Determined dreams.
With faith and love they passed through the days and their lives together.
She made a home from modest means and weaved the traditions that bound our family.
He is salt of the earth.
Hard work, rough hands, stoic patriarch.
Always a man of little words even when words were sought.
Years spill over , family grows. Loved ones lost.
Grandpa is 91 now.
For so long independent, strong. The rock solid foundation that our family was built upon. Unwaivering.
No not immortal...time has brought this man to us.
This man before me now still has little words but still words are sought.
Now softened hands.
Softer smile.
Softer eyes.
Frail.
Time to draw near.
